Our Staff

Joalyn is our office manager and go to gal on anything relating to insurance and billing. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare billing and more than 10 years here at Parkside Women's Centre she is an expert at taking the confusing mess that insurance so often seems to be and breaking it down to an easily understandable level. Not only does Joalyn manage our office with apparent ease, but she also takes care of her family and ever growing collection of pets (including cats, dogs, and horses). She is definitely a key player in our practices success.

Kathy is our assistant manager, and our triage queen. She has all the answers, and is exceptionally caring and patient while she breaks down test results and surgical procedures answering any and all questions you may have. Kathy is the woman who can talk you through all of your concerns without ever making you feel bad for calling her ten times a day. Kathy caries that level of care and patience outside of the office as well making her a wonderful wife and mother.

Wendy is the office extraordinaire. She will greet you on the phone, guide you to a room to see Dr. Hoover, she IS medical records and fixes all our needs in the office. She is kind, warm, gracious, and never meets a stranger. Wendy is a mother of four,three boys and one girl. Her background makes her an asset to Parkside Women's Centre; she has a Bachelors degree form Erskine College, and she received a Masters degree from ECU in Biology and Genetics. She loves to read and travel.
